The sounds of ancient China meld with the contemporary when world- class pipa player, Wu Man, joins members of the Bang on a Can All- Stars. Also featured are works by Daniel Kelly, Evan Ziporyn, Mark Stewart's 'Music for Traditional Instruments and Plumbing' and David Cossin's video interpretation of Steve Reich's 'Piano Phase.'

The Bang on a Can All- Stars perform works by Fred Frith, Paul Lansky, Lukas Ligeti, Alvin Lucier, Evan Ziporyn and Don Byron's 'Eugene', a piece accompanied by video of the comedian Ernie Kovacs.
